Face of Ireland Competition - Ireland’s Leading Ambassadorial and Prize Competition.

Face of Ireland Competition which now in its 7th year has become one of Ireland’s leading and most popular ambassadorial and prize competitions for ladies over the age of 18 attracting thousands of applications each year all with one dream and one passion to represent their country as an ambassador in New York by winning the Face of Ireland title and of course winning loads of amazing prizes.
 
The Competition searches the 32 counties of Ireland looking for suitable female candidates over the age of 18 who believe they have got what it takes to be the Next Face of Ireland whilst helping various charities. Over the years Face of Ireland has supported charities such as The Solace Cancer Support Centre in Donegal Town Co. Donegal, The 1 Life Suicide Helpline (1800247100) Aware, My Sister Zoe Appeal, The Tyrone Branch of the MS Society The STOP organisation which stands for ‘Suicide’ ‘Teach’ ‘Organise’ and Prevent’ a registered charity which assists and supports individuals who feel suicidal, who are in distress or those who have been bereaved by suicide and the 2013 Campaign will once again assist several charities including a newly formed charitable organization ‘GRASP’(Greater Responsibility & Awareness, Suicide, Prevention) set up to assist and deal with people who are thinking about suicide and families who have had a member who has attempted or succeeded in committing Suicide. These are just a few charities that Face of Ireland has helped, supported and financially contributed to in the recent past.
 
With a well known judging panel comprising of well known household names, the competition is a family friendly event and most of the girls who have been in the competition down through the years although nervous when they first are interviewed relax with the family that is Face of Ireland.
 
Above all this is a prize competition with some fabulous prizes to be won for the winner who is crowned the Face of Ireland.
 
The successful candidate who receives the title as the Face of Ireland will receive some fabulous prizes and gifts including A BB Awards Trophy, a trip for two to Spain, she will also travel with a member of the Face of Ireland team to New York and will be assisting the organizers at the 2013 St. Patrick’s Day Parade in New York by officially launching the parade. The winner will also receive 10 Luxurious Dresses from her dress sponsor (One Per Month), a fantastic photoshoot with Derek Mc Auley Photography and Avril Mawhinney, €1000 Jewellery,  Luxurious Tanning Hampers, Makeup Hampers, Hair Hampers and will also feature on a fly-on-the-wall documentary which will be filmed over the year of the winner’s reign.
 
The successful candidate will also be featured in newspapers, magazines, and television as well as being interviewed on radio stations both locally and nationally on different topics and events.
 
This is an ambassador role and the successful candidate must want to have a life in this industry. This is a job and we expect that the suitable candidate treat it as one. There is no greater honor than that to represent your own country as an ambassador and walk down fifth avenue for the St. Patricks Day parade.
